Know Before You Go
1. You require a Passport to cross the border into Canada.
2. You cannot cross the border if you have been charged with a felony and some misdemeanors ex.
DUI. If you have been granted a pardon you MAY be eligible to cross. If it has been 10 years
since the end of a sentence you may be eligible to cross. Certain charges will not allow crossing
no matter the length of time since conviction or sentences. If you have multiple felonies or
felonies/misdemeanor you will likely not be eligible to cross. To be sure you are eligible to

3. You CANNOT bring firearms into Canada, even if you are licensed in your home state.
4. Knives with blades longer than 2 inches are not allowed across the border.
5. You cannot bring marijuana across the border. It is legal here so just plan on buying it here if
need be.
6. It is recommended that you do not wear your colors when crossing the border. It is not illegal
but it may cause them to dig a bit deeper and delay your crossing.
7. Be prepared to be pulled in for additional screening at the border. If you are selected be honest.
Tell them you are coming for an anniversary party. Have a copy of our flyer and contact
information in case it is requested.
8. Border Services Officers are legally entitled to examine your luggage at crossing.
9. Helmets are required.
10. Our currency is Canadian Dollars. The exchange is about 1.35%. 1.00 USD is 1.35 CDN. You
can change your money at the Duty Free Shop at the border, a bank or money mart. Major
restaurants will give you exchange if you pay with USD but it will be less than the bank.
11. US credit cards can be used anywhere credit cards are accepted. Please be sure to let your bank
know you will be across the border.
12. Our venues for the weekend will NOT give exchange. $1.00USD = $1.00CDN so plan to have
Canadian money with you. Our venues will be cash only.
13. Our ticket and hotel prices are posted in Canadian dollars.
14. Our legal age is 19 so if you are considering not coming as you are not 21, come on up!!
15. Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius. 20 degrees C = 68 degrees F.
16. Please reach out to your phone carrier to see if you have, or can get, an international roaming
plan to be sure you don’t incur high roaming fees.
